Effective Date: March 8, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how QUICK CASH U.S.A. LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal information when you use the mobile application QCU: Borrow & Lend. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other relevant privacy frameworks and industry standards.

By using the QCU: Borrow & Lend mobile application (the “App”), you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, please do not use the App. We encourage you to read this policy in full to understand how your data is treated.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the QCU: Borrow & Lend App, we may collect several categories of information from and about you, either directly or indirectly.

You may provide personal information such as your full name, date of birth, full Social Security Number (SSN), email address, and phone number when creating or managing your account. This information is required to ensure secure identification, communication, and verification of users, especially when dealing with sensitive financial data.

The App is designed to track and manage personal loans and borrow/lend activities. As part of its core functionality, you may enter data such as the name of the person you are borrowing from or lending to, the relationship to that person (e.g., family, friend, colleague), the loan amount, frequency of repayment, number of installments, and the purpose of the loan (e.g., medical, bills, home improvement). All of this information is collected solely for the purpose of managing your financial relationships more effectively.

In addition, we may automatically collect certain device and usage-related data. This includes your device type, operating system version, device identifiers, and usage behavior within the app. We may also collect crash logs and performance data to help us maintain the stability and performance of the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for several important purposes. First and foremost, it allows us to provide you with the core features of the App - tracking borrowed and lent funds, calculating payment schedules, sending reminders, and organizing financial transactions in a clear and user-friendly format.

We also use your data to improve the overall functionality and performance of the App. This includes using anonymized and aggregated data to understand how users interact with the app, identify potential issues, optimize features, and ensure the best user experience.

Additionally, we may use your contact information (such as email or phone number) to provide customer support, respond to your requests, or notify you of critical information related to your account, such as changes in terms or important service messages.

If you opt into certain features, such as syncing or cloud backup, your financial data may be encrypted and securely transmitted using services like Firebase (Google LLC), which helps store and manage app data.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take your privacy and data protection seriously. All personal data entered into the App is stored using industry-standard encryption technologies. Sensitive data such as SSNs is encrypted both in transit and at rest, ensuring that your information is protected from unauthorized access.

Most user data is stored locally on your device unless you enable cloud-related features, such as backup or sync. In such cases, data may be transmitted to and stored on secure servers provided by third-party vendors like Firebase, which comply with major privacy regulations including CCPA and GDPR.

Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems, and we maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it.

4. Third-Party Services

The QCU: Borrow & Lend App utilizes trusted third-party services to improve the reliability and quality of our offerings. Specifically, we use Firebase (provided by Google LLC) to handle app analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and optional cloud backups.

Firebase helps us collect anonymized data that lets us analyze how users engage with the app, which features are most used, and where improvements can be made. All third-party services used by the App are selected based on their commitment to strong privacy standards and compliance with relevant laws.

These services do not access your personal identifiable information unless required for support or explicitly authorized by you.

5. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to any third parties. Your data is never monetized or shared for advertising purposes.

We may share certain information with service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as data storage or support), but only to the extent necessary for them to carry out their tasks. All such providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Your Rights and Choices

As a user, you have the right to access, review, correct, and delete your personal data at any time. Within the App, you can request to delete all your data via the profile settings, and we will process this request promptly in accordance with applicable law.

You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing activities, and you may request a copy of your data in a portable format. If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, please contact our support team.

To exercise your rights or to make a data-related request, email us at support@quickcashconnectfin.org. Please note that we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

7. Children’s Privacy

This App is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, new features, or company practices. If changes are made, we will update the effective date and make the revised policy available within the App. Significant updates may be accompanied by a notice or prompt within the App.

By continuing to use the App after updates are published, you acknowledge and accept the revised Privacy Policy.
